Advancing the Future of Computational Design

The Computational Design Laboratory, led by Prof. Bernd Bickel, is embedded in the Institute of Technology in Architecture at ETH Zurich. We are also affiliated with the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering and the Department of Computer Science at ETH Zurich. Our research is rooted in Computer Science, in the area of Computational Design and Visual Computing. We are focusing on developing novel algorithms and practical solutions for interactive design, geometry processing, spatial computing, creativeAI, and computational fabrication.
