This seminar week is organized by the Chair of Computational Design at ETH Zurich. The five-day course introduces architects to the fundamentals of computer graphics, material synthesis and rendering. Using computational workflows developed in Adobe Substance, participants will learn to generate building materials, and render their architecture design projects.
The program gives a series of hands-on workshops on the topics of:
Procedural Materials: Using procedural graphics, and visual programming to generate customisable material textures, and patterns.
Engage with experts from computer graphics, and visual effects as they share insights and help you tackle rendering challenges. Plus, participate in an on-site excursion to a building project, where you’ll apply your new skills to a live rendering challenge.
